We want you to look your best and that means planning ahead and choosing outfits that require no adjustments during your shoot. Bra straps and panty lines (if doing a full body shoot), are hard to alter in post production. An ill fitting or unflattering cut in your outfit will take focus away from the star of the photo, you! Not sure what colors to wear? Neutral colors are the perfect go to if you’re stuck on trying to figure out what colors suit you best. Warm, earthy tones, or cool clean hues are always a great choice. Big bold prints definitely make a statement, but can draw focus away from your face. Red is a big attention grab so be careful when choosing it as part of your ensemble. Red can also draw out pink hues in your skin tone which many try to avoid. White is a bit high maintenance for outdoor shoots, which is why most bridal shoots are done with assistance, so please be mindful of that choice should you want to go in that direction. Also, please plan ahead and bring any props and accessories that you want to include in your shoot. The more prepared you are, the less time will be required in post processing. Longer post processing can cause a delay in the delivery of your photos. Get plenty of rest the night before and minimize dark circles under your eyes, and signs of fatigue. Make up should be applied as evenly as possible prior to your shoot. Hair should be styled and colored exactly how you would like it captured. For a feminine look, lash enhancements can really bring out you eyes in your headshot, so pull out that mascara. For men, camera ready means arriving clean shaven, moisturized, and well groomed. Make sure your nails are clean and manicured as some poses may display your hands in the photo.
